Governance and Funding
Our Governance Model
The ERGP is an important component of the School and the University of Calgary, which establish a strong tradition of ethics. We uphold values of independence, drive, impact, concern, and respect in all that we do.
Governance
The ERGP is guided by an Advisory Committee that provides counsel on our lines of service, program development, and research portfolios. Our governance model also includes interdisciplinary specialist Fellows, guidance from the School of Public Policy, and direction from the larger University of Calgary.
Through partnered engagement with advisors, the ERGP identifies opportunities, develops strategic actions, and affirms its mandate to promote good governance.
Funding
Our program is funded through grants, donations, and the University of Calgary. Funding partners to the University of Calgary also include the Government of Alberta, Government of Canada, and endowments from private industry. We generate revenue through ERGP activities such as courses, workshops, research grants, and special projects which cover a portion of our operational costs.
